Heinz 57 Gun
Hey, This TM M4 was my first gun that I started to upgrade 7 months ago. When I bought the parts I wasn't sure what I was doing, so I threw all caution to the wind. I never really asked what to buy, so hopefully I'll learn from my mistake.
PARTS: -Deep Fire metal nozzle -Systema silent headset -Modify Cylinder -Modify Polycarbonate Piston(full teeth) -MadBull M120 spring -Guarder spring guide -Modify Reinforced gears -King Arms 7mm gearbox -King Arms metal bushings -Prometheus Hop Up(soft) -Systema 6.04 inner barrel -Tappet plate still might be stock TM To sum it up, I know that mixing different brands of parts is not ideal, so what I'm asking here is what could/should be changed, now/future. I want reliability in my gun, while trying to keep a consistent 390-400ish FPS. Gun hasn't been chrono'ed, but I "THINK" with these parts installed I'm shooting 390ish. Thanks for the help |

if the tight bore is full m4 length and your compression is all good I'd guestimate your shooting around 430fps also, did you shim the gears?
That soft hopup rubber will fall apart on you, it should only be in sub 350 guns anything higher needs hard type. |

Forgot to mention that it's a wee bit longer. 455mm. Yes, they have been shimmed. Just want to make sure that they all work well together.

i had a m110 and an 500mm tight bore and got 450. So unless your compresion is shit you'll be too hot. I say you should find somebody with a crony for you to test you gun in before you show up at a game and can't play.

Damn, that is not what I was going for.Well the good news is, I do have a another gun that is shooting 350ish, so I'll be using that this weekend. I think I'll pick up a modify M110. Maybe go back to the standard inner barrel as well. Anyway, thanks guys

S90-330ish S100-365ish I'll be putting the S90 in my CQB AK spetsnaz after I chrony it again under normal conditions. I just chronied it last weekend, at FR in 0 to 5 degree weather, at 245fps. still shot beautifully though. Last edited by coach; March 25th, 2009 at 20:49.. |

Are you asking what you need to change? From what I see, nothing.
There isn't anything wrong with it right? Don't fix what isn't broken. You have a lot of good parts in there. |

Anyway, a PDI 150% will get you around 395 but with use, will drop. I have the 150 in the M4 and am the second owner with it. It consistently shoot 380's now which is just about right. |

No, not that I know of, except for it's "apparentally" high FPS! The parts are good. Just was wondering down the road if something does break, what would be a good switch/ change of parts, so they can all run well together. that's all.

Like i said, crony it first. then swap out springs, you might be 390, though that would more than likely mean your air compression is off.

put together what you have and chrony it. buy more parts when things don't work or break.
