Simple AR hopup mod
I put a little rubber O ring on the inner barrel just in front of the hopup to help hold the hopup in place.The O ring helps keep that brass ring in place as well. The O ring dose not fit inside the hopup like the brass ring. Just sits in front of it like in the pic. And a little bit of tape over the barrel C clip and you get a really good air seal.

I just tape the hop-up and barrel with some teflon tape, works great, seals awesome.

This mod's effectiveness would highly vary between manufacturers. For example, my G&G's hopup chamber fits so precisely that not only is there no room for an o-ring, I don't even need the spring that pushes the chamber against the mechbox.
