Changing the forend on an M4?
I was wondering if i bought an ris/ras quad rail and went to attach it on to m4a1 carbine would i be able to do this? of course removing the carbine end first.
also would the gun and quad rail have to be the same make or are other makes compatable? say jing gong and dboys? thanks for any insight... |

What gun do you have? If you have TM, it will fit all.
You can attach anything into an m4 front end. But then, you would need to buy a new tight bore to fit the new outer barrel. |

JG can mostly fit TM parts, so that means yes you can.

Just note you'll probably have to buy a battery box as the battery goes in the M4 hand guard and you can't fit one inside a RIS unit.
Also, in general all those brands will be compatible. You should try and avoid mixing too much but rails are generally a safe bet.
