Kitlist
Titanium Sphera with VSR cover

And I tried playing a bit with the helmet boy that thing is heavy as hell.

Excellent Impression! The 74 looks mean.

Good to see some more Russian load-outs, the Russian/Eastern Block forum is always a bit sparse compared to the others.

Brave man for wearing the Sphera though, how much does that thing weigh? must have cost a pretty penny too.

STOP IT!!!

The more great gear I see you in the more gear I buy. You have turned me to the darkside and now I'm like a meth addict with Russian camo.

I love the pic at the window. It could be right out of the series from the school. The only thing you are missing is another russian in partizan behind you... *wink wink*.

Where did you get the Gorka Partizan suit? I've looked everywhere and cannot find one. There was one on the Soviet Propaganda site, but it comes with OD bits all over it :/ Please share your knowledge!!! Great kit btw.

Sfera, I was lucky enough to source two straight from Russian about three years ago for $200. These days there are a few floating around on ebay and try Sov-prop.

The Partizan i've also had for years. Soviet Prop should have them, it's the standard Partizan suit. There is also a handful of ebay shops.

Some pics from the past weekend - Was able to finally field my Afghan kit.

Afghan desert with a KZS top
Soviet webbing with pouch and makrov holster
Lifchka rig
AK74 with mag45 rounders :-)

The only problem is everyone could easily see me because of the dang hat! Time to find a different one.

Gish, your KZS top looks extremely.. bright, compared with other photos Ive seen of that suit, could've sworn it was darker... is it reversed or something?

(I want one lol)

I thought the same thing too but thats what it is. Theres a few main versions (Common darker green, mine a brighter yellow/green, and another green verison) the version I got just happened to be kinda brightish.

My current 'summer' season loadout (*airsoft friendly* so not entirely authentic):

The look is based on a VDV Recon Scout unit uniform (badges are my airsoft team badges)...

At the moment I am using my Tactical Taylor 2 piece X-Harness rig, while I wait for my VDV RD-54.

Congratulations!
You are looking really great!
Especially for capitalists
I understand how it is hurd to get russian gear.
But there are mistakes in Afganistan kit:
- your headwear. If you have not original russian cap, use oliv bandana
- PM holster. Russian don't like to cary pistols in battle. We prever to take two more magasines for our AK-rifles. Even officers.
