Mislabeled Prometheus spring?
What are the chances of that happening?
I got a Prometheus MS110SP. It's at least an inch longer than the CA stock spring I had in my G36. It's also twice harder to compress. Once installed in the mechbox, it pops out automatically. Unless I hold down both the cylinder and the sping between the guide and cylinder. Since my G36 fired 370fps (stock) before, I didn't expect such a difference using a MS110SP. Could this be a mislabeled MS120SP? |

When I put a M110 in my CA m15 I had to hold the guide and cylinder down too, the spring was also a lot longer than the stock one. And yah what color is it?

It's not abnormal for a spring to want to pop out sideways during installation.

The only other blue Prometheus spring is the MS100, so it doesn't look to be a mislabelled spring. Rather, as ILLusion said, it's perfectly normal for springs to want to pop out sideways when you have the shell open.
BTW, remember to have the tighter coils facing towards the rear when installing. Otherwise you'll have FPS issues.

It seems like after popping out a few times during installation, the spring isn't perfectly straight anymore. Is this anything to worry about?

Yeah that'll happen. Doesn't seem to cause any issues with my guns.

well M110's should have a green tinge to them.. if his is blue something is a bit off.

I have received a couple Prom Ms110 that are grey for some reason, not coloured at all, just bare metal.
Just my $0.02 |

It seems like Prometheus has stopped anodizing their springs (it's a shame, I really liked the colours).
But Dark Blue is an MS100SP, Turquoise would be an MS110SP and Dark Green would be an MS120SP |
