G&P M4 takedown troubles
I have a G&P M4 (my first M4 by the way) that I am trying to take apart since it has ceased to function. I am trying to get the pistol grip off, but there are two small hexagonal screws at both ends that I just cant seem to unscrew. I am using a T9 torx wrench, which seems to be just right, and nothing is budging. It just seems that the screws' edges are wearing down.
Am I doing something wrong to take off the pistol grip or what?

The screws in my old G&P M4A1's pistol grips (you mean inside where the motor sits right?) were phillips head. They use some pretty strong thread lock so you'll have to use quite a bit of force, just make sure you're using the right bit.

I have just rebuilt my G&P M4 Commando and it
had allen head screws ,but use a good quality allen wrench as the thread lock holds the screws in tight. |

yea G&P uses LockTight on their pistol grip screws, first time popping them is a bitch.
