My 4th New Airsoft Toy
The Chief Cook & Bottle Washer said ok to another new airsoft toy.... the Thompson Sub Machinegun. It is an M1A1 Thompson with the long stick mag, but My friend Jack is willing to swap me the short stick mag used on the M1 Thompsons for the longer stick mag. Personally I like the short mag over the long mag. The only main difference between the two is the M1A1 has a cross bolt in the stock where it joins the main body and the longer mag. But I can live with these differences. To solve the rattle of the batteries is to wrap the battery with thin foam rubber. This is the first gun I have that has an in-line fuse in the positive lead. Here are a couple pictures of the better half holding the gun.

The wife says thank you. Beside her is some of her canning cases. She did bread and butter pickles, dill pickles, green tomato pickles, zucchini relish, salsa, chilli sauce, raspberry jam, and strawberry jam. So treats me very nicely along with my airsoft habit.... LOL
P.S. her jams are heavenly..... mmmmm on hot buttered toast Last edited by pzrwest; September 22nd, 2016 at 08:49.. |

My friend Jack was here yesterday and we swapped mags for our Thompsons. He has the early Thompson with the pistol grip forstock, like ones you see in the old B&W movies and with the drum magazines. He liked the long mag over his shorter mag and I liked the shorter mag. Will try and get a couple pics later today or tomorrow.
