VFC PDW Sling swivel

Hey guys,

I am trying to find a sling swivel in canada that will fit the VFC PDW, from what I have read it is a special short type of swivel and as such is proving difficult to source.

Does anyone familiar with the PDW know if the sling swivel from this: http://www.mach1airsoft.com/content/...hand-stop-rail would fit? From videos I have seen it looks to be the right length, just need confirmation.

- Chris

I got this one but from another retailer because it was bo at the time. Works perfectly with my VFC PDW and I like the handstop

Aren't these QD sling swivels all standard length?

I have a VFC KAC handstop off my SR635 and it accepts all of my QD sling things.

Nope, I ordered a bag from a retailer and they didn't work with my VFC

Bad news, unfortunately that swivel does not fit.

Anyone else have any ideas? I may try sanding this swivel down.

Is it just the length of the end of the stub...or where the placement/depth of the ball detents are. If the ball detents will fit...I'd just grind it down.

I used to have a bag full of various swivels (don't know if I gave them all away)...let me see if any are shorter than the others. If one works for you I don't mind trading off.

5kull - No problem, It was worth a try.

M102 - Thanks for the offer. It looks like the bearings are in the correct place, will try grounding down the end.

A warning to anyone trying to file down swivels, does not seem to work. The swivel on the right breached the inside before I got anywhere close to getting it to fit. The swivel on the left (from the handstop) got pretty close but as you can see by the small circle forming in the center I was about to also breach the inside.

Back to option 1 - Find somewhere to buy the swivel. Looks like WGC shop has one here. Unfortunately you cant see the back of the swivel but its my best idea at the moment.

I just got a sling swivel that works on the VFC PDW for cheap!

Airsoft-club has the "E&C QD Sling Swivel for 10mm Socket" for $5, just received this a couple days ago and it fits perfectly into the back left side swivel mount. I also bought a VFC one from wgcshop that works great but it cost me $13. I figured I would put this out there in case someone is looking for a cheaper alternative.

Does WGC still force you to do a bank wire?
