Multiple Weapons
I can't find any threads on this, and it may seem like a stupid question, however im going to ask it anyways.
Is it unreasonable to carry a primary and a secondary weapon aside from a sidearm during games? Mostly just for fields that have both open and somewhat crowded areas, may need a shotty for cqb or something, and then a long barrel rifle for that guy off in the distance. just a thought, maybe I just play too much rainbow six.

I use a WE m14, and I carry a TM VZ61 as a secondary. with a luger as a backup.
So nah, not really uncommon. Just comes down to whether you're comfortable with carrying as many weapons as needed. I've seen people carry a full length sniper rifle, an m16 and so on comfortably, but I dunno, lol. Just seems like an accident waiting to happen. |

Not at all, I used to play with a TM/AGM VSR10, P90, and an M9; never used the P90 or the M9 but it was nice knowing i had those if anyone came within my MED for my sniper, aeg, or pistol

A lot of people bring a backup gun and leave it in their car etc, in case their gun breaks down.
But most people play with just a primary, and some with a secondary like a pistol. |

I can definitely see a need for any sniper to have a backup rifle for closer ranges, I just wasn't sure if anyone else carried multiple rifles and a side arm.

Pistols are great.
I have seen lots of people play with an extra AEG or shotgun strapped somewhere to their gear. I don't think I have ever actually seen someone use one though. A good GGB pistol will get you through until you can make it back to the staging area to grab your backup. Ill all seriousness though, unnecessary weight isn't good idea. First game I came to I was so stupidly over-dressed I could barely move. Tacticool to the max! By the end I had taken almost all of my gear off for the added mobility. EDIT: I did see a sniper with an MP5K on a single point sling, that seemed like a good idea to me, but other then that I wouldn't bother.

Some of us just used to mount our secondarys to our primarys and carried pistols as a tertiary.

My entire airsoft playing career has been MP5, M24, G19 (or two) plus a Mk23 (if no second G19)............ all the same time in various combinations, so no, it's not uncommon nor is it 'an accident waiting to happen'. Lol, works for me, I may be semi slow but I'm not a runner anyways, I stalk.

It all boils down to what you find comfortable.
We have a guy that carries an M24, Full stock shotgun and a 1911 comfortably, but thats him. I prefer a straight up Rifle/Pistol combo.
