SCAR-L sling adaptor advice needed
I have a VFC SCAR-L, which has very small eyelet rings. I would like to run a single-point bungee sling. I bought one that came with a MASH hook that doesn't fit the eyelet properly, and I'm now trying to find a way to get a good fit and good range of motion.
One option I found was the Blue Force Gear universal wire loop: http://www.blueforcegear.com/product...Wire-Loop.html Which, combined with a sling with a different adaptor, works like this: http://www.03designgroup.com/reviews...rsal-wire-loop I'm leaning towards this solution, but I'm open to suggestions from others. |

Obviously I would loop the UWL around the eyelet, and not around the barrel, but the second link gives you the idea of how the adaptor works.

It says right in the description it fits a SCAR. Buzz Farmboy on here and ask him when he's getting more in.

I've met a few other SCAR owners, and we all used the same solution: a short piece of paracord to which the sling could be clipped. It's simple, cheap, and effective. I know that the airsoft manufacturers want to be authentic to the original design, though it makes me wonder why didn't FN design a more user friendly system?

On mine I just put the Vickers mash hook in the rear loop (with some gentle persuasion) and a KAC handstop on the front. I don't really like something that big on a one point.
I do the paracord loop on a MP7 though. I have seen other folks put a split wring on an eyelet to give a bit more real estate.
