Kid claims that he put tm 1911 internals in real 1911 frame?
THis kid on youtube claims that his tm 1911 is fitted inside a real 1911 frame. Is this possible? (not that i want to do something like this but just curious)

Impossible.
Anyone who ever handled a real pistol would know. The puny toy parts would get destroyed by the heavy springs in a real pistol. Not to mention that it would not fit unless you milled the shit out of it. Oh and watching the video, he would not be able to cycle the slide like he did if it was a real heavy slide.

+1.
Marui mags don't fit in a real frame, from what I recall. Real slide wouldn't work either, I think. Well, short of getting milled to shit. BTW, did anyone notice that his mags were too shiny to be genuine Marui's? |

Really guys? Does anyone actually believe that video?
Well for one, the blowback unit would not fit, not to mention the other 1000 reasons why it wouldn't work. |

Trigger parts arrangement is different in a real 1911. For instance, the sear is pretty different:
http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/Blue-...v1911-sear.htm There isn't a need for a firing pin lock to hold the mag valve open in a real gun so you don't have the second disconnector tab on the left side of the frame.

Said he got it from his cousin.. and when your a kid thinking your cousin is cool.... you'd believe his ass for giving you a metal frame claiming it as real. I had a good laugh out of this. LOL>.. the video has been removed LOL
