Radio info?

Anyone know where and what kind/brand of radios (and headsets) work well? I don't really want to spend over 120$ for a radio setup. How much problems have people had with setups in different areas? You know, all that wonderful info. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia if that helps hammer out some of the info I need.

For one thing, check with the rest of the players in your area to see what they're using, and make sure what you get it compatible.
