New Receiver

I'm looking to get a new receiver/frame for my KWA M1911 - I've been browsing the forums and it sounds like I would not be allowed to import this into Canada (please correct me of I'm wrong). This is unfortunate because KWAusa is the only place I can seem to find one of these metal receivers.

Are there any public distributors/outlets in Canada which sell these that anyone is familiar with? (I'm not asking for private/classified sales - I understand I haven't been AV'd).

That being said I've looked hard and haven't been able to find one - so I assume the next step will be to get age verified and check the classifieds - will this be worth it? Or is a metal KWA-compatible M1911 receiver too obscure of an item to justify going through the AV process?

No you won't find any retail stores in Canada that sell that item, for the same reason you can't get/import one.
