CA SCAR-CQC : Upgrading it's rate of fire

Hi folks.

I own a Classic Army SCAR-CQC since 2 years now and I would like to upgrade it's rate of fire.

I still have it stock and I feel that it's rate of fire is pretty slow (when I compare it to my friend's KWA M4...). The only way to do this that I found so far is to switch the 8.4 battery to a 9.6.

Was that a bad idea?

Give me advice please on what you think I should do.

Thank you.

Pierre

Nah the CA stuff can handle a 9.6 mini just fine. You could probably even put in a 10.8mini, but then you would need the englarge stock from CA.

Your best bet for high rate of fire would be to run a battery in a PEQ type box up front, so that you could use a large or lipo battery (obviously lipo is a better choice since the battery box wouldn't have to be very big).

Other than those things you just went general durability upgrades. Things like a better piston since the CA ones tend to suck, and possibly a better tappet plate (I have heard the CA ones were bad as well.. am I right? Can't remember or not but I am pretty sure I heard that in multiple places). A better motor never hurts either, like a Systema Turbo, although I've got no experience with the systema turbo so you would probably want to check reviews on that. If you really wanted to go crazy, you could buy a high-speed gear set, but I don't think you are really going for a ridiculous rate of fire, and the stock gears/gear ratio is just fine for not-so-ridiculous high rate of fire set ups.

Anything I've left out anyone?

A better motor.

A change of motor in my ak made it go from 950 to 1268.

Ya, I guess CYMA's motors are not on par with TM.

P-S: SHIET I wrote the msg with my bro's account =S, sry for the fuck ups

Ok, so now let's that I would like to upgrade my gearbox to a lipo one, which gearbox should I buy?

And since I have a Classic Army SCAR (not a D-Boy), do you think I should follow these instructions to dissassemble it?
YouTube - Disassembling - SCAR

Please note that I am no tech AT ALL (<-aka total tech noob if you prefer) so I'd be grateful if you could also send me some links to the parts you're suggesting to me.

Also note that I have never dissassembled an airsoft yet =P.

Wish me good luck haha

Bearing bushings as well so as long as the spring is stock or very mildly upgraded.

you'll learn with time, how to properly disassemble your gun! we all have to learn once...but i suggest you to try first with a cheaper gun....just to make sure you don't destroy anything on your CA scar...

Je te souhaite beacoup de plaisir!
