KJW M700 new stock question
What does it take to put a kjw m700 in a real remington 700 stock. It looks like it would be a drop in but i could be wrong.

I'm not sure about the drop in. The KJW M700 could have it's hown screw sizes and placement.
And th magwell could be fidderent. I think it would be easy to know, it's a popular rifle in shooting club as I hear, you could go check it for yourself and let us know. The KJW stock is pretty nice already, I'd love to compare it to it's real conterpart.

It could very well be a drop in option but you will need to get specific information on the screw holes mag size and placement. There are 2 sizes of remmington 700's (long and short action) and many styles of floor plate.

You would need to figure out the floorplate type and size (this is the trigger guard area)
The ejection port size (long or short action). You will also most likely need to find the barrel diameter at the tip aswell as the chamber. Real steel stocks have the following options to fit different 700 models. Long Action or Short Action for the bolt. Floor Plate inleting and Barrel inleting. There are so many different trigger/floorplate and barrel types its rediculous. The cost of a good bolt action stock is around 700cdn and even if you found one that matched close enough you would most likely still have to do some work on it. |

It's pretty close, not too much modding to do. My buddy did his on a KJW 700.
A use 700 stock can be found on Canadiangunnutz for under $100. Polymer ones in a gun shop will also be under $100. |

What type modding was involved.Perhaps you could make a tutorial with your buddy.
