Hop-up for SiG552?
Get the feeling I'm starting to flood a bit. Been about a week since I posted something, and now I've found something new I have a situation with
I've been looking around for a new hop-up to install in my SiG552 since personally just looking at my current hop-up, I thought it was kind of... flimsy? I could be wrong, maybe this is a very good hop-up. Anyway, does anyone know where I could find a hop-up for a SiG552? I keep hearing that what I have is all I have and no one manufactures an upgraded hop-up for a SiG552. I hope this is just a myth Also, I hear people talking about bucking sets. If I'm right, this comes with a sleeve and a little thing with it. I know what the sleeve is for, and actually I think I need a new one, since I may have torn my current sleeve (hoping not) but with a bucking set aside from the sleeve there's a little cylinder looking thing. What is that little cylinder thing, and what is it used for? Edit: Also any information on where to get a black cheek rest for the same gun in question would be awesome! (I can only find OD ones) Thanks again guys for the help

The little cylinder for the hopup is what presses the sleeve against the BB's when you adjust the hopup lever.

Not sure if this is what you are asking for but here is a MARUI SIG-552 Complete Hop Up Assembly.
Also where did you find the OD cheek rest? I'd be interested in that

Styrak: Thanks for the help. I guess I better sweep my floor and find mine. I thought it was just a piece of plastic that fell Are all bucking sets universal, or are they hop-up specific?
Dao: That's actually the same one I'm using I'll keep watch on that just in case mine breaks though, hehe. And, since you asked, here's the OD one I found, it's out of stock at the moment but I'm sure you can request it to get restocked: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...il?prodID=8680

SIG 552 uses the same kind of hop up as G36 series. Although they may feel flimsy, they are VERY durable and one of the most consistant and accurate hop up system out there(way better than AK and M4 kinds). Keep the one you have, getting that TM one won't make any difference.
How do you even break a hop up anyway? |

I think I heard that if you make too powerful of a shot, you can break a hop-up. Not sure though, just what I heard, heh.
Any chance you know if bucking sets are universal or gun specific?

I know that the Sig hopup is the same as the G3. I think King Arms makes an apgraded one. I cannot comment specifically on the g36 as the hopup on the one I bought is a replica pro-win design.

And no, unless you shoot the BBs at the hop up, it won't break, whoever said that is pretty mentally challenged. |

The TM SIG 552 is one of the most accurate guns I've had, and as Skladfin said they have one of the best hop up system out there, so the TM stock one is fine, but I don't know if the same applies to the clone ones.
