P90 drum mag
Hi
Any one knows if that mag. will allow me to use standard m15 real/midcap magazines on P90 or is it just a rattling drum mag. with a m15 mag. attached just for looks? http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...ing%20Magazine Thx in advance for any info. Cheers |

It will allow you to use any armalite mag you want, but it is designed to use highcaps. You have to fill the whole upper part and have the highcap mecanism feed the gun.
But you still can use some normal low/mid caps in it. I only find the battery storage to be usefull (a large 9.6v can be fit in there). Otherwise I don't like the look of it. Still if it floats you boat... |

I am a realcap mag person myself, I have about 20 m15 mags and only one P90 mag. That was the reason for my question. I wanted to find a way to use my m15 realcap's in my P90

The box acts as a resevoir that drains into the M4 Hi-cap. The resovoir uses the hi-caps filling port and then the winding spring fills the tube back up to the firing chamber.
Yep the BB's rattle, but the box is solid and the big battery storage is a huge bonus. It will turn your P90 into a BB hose, but on the up side you don't have to worry about how to store p90 mags on a vest leh er where ever. and you won't have an easy time feild switching between the Box and low caps. You have to pull the power line drop the big bat out and remove the box. load in a small bat and then stick on your low cap. Faster to just open your BB bag and pour... as your laying down non-stop coverfire for your squad.Nothing says get down like a p90 on steroids lol. I use a VN M16 hi cap its smaller size makes is less of a hang up. Oh and you won't need a scope or sight you just draw a line to the target. And nothing says "could not cut it old school" like steroids, leave those for professional athletes. I don't think using your mid/realcap m-mags will work, even if it did you would have so many bbs in the loading tube it would be weird. I plan to run with 7 std mags loaded to 50 bbs, 6 in pouches and one in the gun, assuming others are using realcap loadouts that is as many rounds as over 11 m-mags. I get mine off ebay from HK, I've heard that they are not importable but I order them one at a time so they get shipped in a padded envelopes. That way CBSA doesn't generally open them. It costs about half as much as if I ordered them in country so even if half got seized I would come out on par. I am so far 3 for 3 success rate. Not that I would ever suggest to try and cheat CBSA or anything.

Legally, ud have to buy from AA or another canadian retailer in stock.
Illegally, you can try to import them on ur own, but you risk getting your mags seized and risk bringing attention to you. P90 mags arent allowed to be imported because they have fake bullets in them. |

ya low/real/mid caps will work, but you will loose about 10 bb in each mag change.

i dont understand why u wanna use AR15 mags then if you can just import the normal P90 mags. That is after all, one of the biggest features of a P90. Top loading 50rd mags.
Using realcaps or lowcaps with the Boxmag system will still cost you approx 10 rounds a mag since they will be inside the tube, and not in the hopup. Box mag is pointless unless u wanna use highcaps. |

IF I happen to decide to get one of these, the main deciding factor for me would be to A) not have to carry P90 mags, it's a pain and B) it, along with a g36 conversion kit, would allow me to carry and buy armalite mags for my M4, P90 and G36C without having to worry about different mags for each weapon.
