VFC MK18 not feeding

OK so my tappet plate broke bought a Prometheus tappet and installed that. gun is firing however it is not feeding. I've heard after replacing tappets that sometime feed problems can happen, and sanding or filing down the nozzle will fix the problem. Is this true? Any input or advice is welcomed.

It all depends on the sector gear cam profile relative to the tappet plate length.
You should be able to visually verify that the nozzle is being fully retracted when the sector cam lobe is at its most rearward position.

well the first round in a mag seats and fires fine, but after that first shot nothing feeds because the nozzle seems to be abit too far forwards after that first shot

That sounds exactly like the problem that my previous post should address.
You'll need to open up your gun to verify.

A shorter tappet plate would be easier and cheaper. I've never had a problem with SHS.

Yes just drop in a shs or modify tappet. Avoid lonex tappets.
