Have you any idea to what range? Are they both stock or have you modded them?
I'm thinking the SG550 would make a great support / slower play rifle rather than the assault class my M4 fits into. |

Lol. Just because it has a longer barrel doesn't group it into some class system. I use long guns all the time without much issue. I prefer them in fact. It shoots and it shoots well.

I was thinking more of a play style than pigeonholing the gun. You've echoed what I've heard from other sources and I think I will have to get one in my hands to make the final decision. Thanks for your feedback its very helpful.
