Avoid ShootSOFT.ca

So after many days of searching for M9 GBB Mags I came across ShootSoft.ca At this point I ignored the poorly written English, The terrible design of the website and went ahead and bought 3 mags. Normally If a website has terrible English or just bad links I avoid it, But I was desperate.

After placing the order through Paypal I get my confirmation of the money being sent. So I waited 7 days before checking my Email for a Tracking number of some sort. Nothing... After that I went back to the website and checked my profile, Apparently I never bought anything... Strange, Then I called the customer support number on the site ( just a cell phone) No answer, left a message with my name and number and paypal email.... Waited 3 days nothing. Called back and still nothing. Since then I have placed 3 calls and left 3 messages. Nothing....

As of today it has been 2 weeks and 4 days since I paid for my order. And not a single Email or Phone call from them.

I will have to dispute the claim on paypal. but Since they are a business I have a bad feeling I will not get my money back for awhile....

Just a heads up guys. Avoid them

1. Get age verified to gain access to a lot of much much better retailers on the forum

2. A quick search of the forum would have yielded a lot of info indicating you should avoid Shootsoft like the plague

3. Your Paypal dispute should go through since they'll likely also be able to get a response from them. I had similar problems with Evike (they replied neither to me nor Paypal/Visa) and got my money back in short order.

dispute the claim even if they respond to you. These fuckers dont deserve anyones hard earned money.

The sooner you dispute, the sooner you can escalate to a claim. The sooner you get your money back.

Login to paypal.
Click "Details" on the right transaction.
At the bottom it will say

Quote:

Have a problem with this transaction? PayPal strongly recommends attempting to resolve this directly with the seller whenever possible.

You can also report it in the Resolution Center within 45 days of the transaction.

Click on the 'Resolution Center" link
Follow the steps.

Best thing is to always buy with a credit card. VISA has a lot more clout than you, paypal, or even a lawyer.
When they investigate frauds, they really stir shit up.
