you don't remove the castle nut, remove the stock, remove the buffer and spring and look under your tube you should see a set screw, remove that screw and remove the cap at the end of the buffer and you will be able to remove the buffer tube

Just got mine as well...I was wondering the EXACT same thing...I put a drop of silicon oil on the piston oring but that is pretty much of what I did since then...I just wait for a friend to show me how to take care of that baby ! A video would be AWESOME ! I can't figure without seeing

Are you talking about on the buffer tube? It is fake, one piece. To remove the buffer, take the stock off. Unscrew the small grub screw under the buffer tube at the back. Unscrew the big flathead on the rear of the buffer. It should then slide off the internal brass tube.

Oil all parts that are subject to abuse, and as well oil your piston o-ring. Keep in mind that if you oil your gun, make sure you clean the crud off after you game with it.
I usually clean and re-oil before and after each use (because im anal like that) I use shock oil, you can get it at your local hobby shop. I got the lightest weight stuff I could find which I think is 10wt.

I've been told that oil like this (I used silicon oil) is not good...that I should use grease and clean the extra to just keep the minimum.
I'm so lost...

You have to remove the outer barrel to get to the hop-up/inner barrel i'd also make sure your hop up is all the way off before removing the barrel **let me know how you like the bucking, I had my eye on one. |

Wow, I didn't tought it would be such a pain to remove the internals!
Plus, the pin holding the full auto sear was bent, so when trying to straight it, it broke. Had to find something the same diameter (Read brand new AEG pin, the one top of the trigger) and then cut it down to the same lenght, and then make the groove so the spring holds in place... At the final, I've got a nice black matte finish lower body ![]() |
