I guess I should resurrect this thread.
I ended up picking up some Classic Army AK74 lowcaps; they're well built (externally similar to the G&P mids) and sat well, fed flawlessly in my AK105 (CYMA body, KA mag latch). I haven't tried 'em yet in my Kalash (although my old STAR lowcaps [not the realcaps] worked in that one, so I at least have a set that works).
