MP5 Piece needed
Hey all. I was wondering if anyone has a front sling pin for an mp5 they wouldn't mind getting rid of. It looks like this:
Thanks

Mine snapped one night game as I slid down the firepole in a bunker (don't ask). Instead of my searching for another, I just used some 550 cord, made a loop with it (loop it then an overhand knot), passed the tails through the hole where the sling pin went, tied another knot and snugged it up, works like a charm, and actually works better than the sling pin itself, is more flexible, won't break off, and also reduces the noise.

You could've had one already if you simply ordered it on april 6th. That was almost a month ago, and you could've had one walked to you at that rate.

Just make your own.
With 10 minutes at a hardware store you could easily find materials suitable to make your own. I made one for my friend's MP5K with a washer, a bolt, some nuts, (some other stuff I can't remember) and some welding. I also made one for an AK wood kit with scrap metal and a doorhinge. Don't ask. |
