You know ... I could always get DaytonaGun to do a small run of high quality steel parts for WE guns if people are complaining about 'quality' that much.

Whatever the price is appealing and now WE stuff is easily accessible, this is alot better then two years go.

Again, if I end up spending over 1K on something unless its a support weapon or something really rare I'd rather invest in real steel.

Anything Norinco/Dominion Arms will outlast any airsoft item lol

@Headlesschicken : I have a solution for you too, I bought Pantac universal shingle and G36 mags fit perfectly in, I don't even have to force to get them out and there's some kind of simili leather inside that prevents the mag from sliping, I played two weeks ago without using the bungie cords, Mags didn't slip one bit

For the video I watch it again, my eye was caught by the buffer plate : isn't there a weird rubber like piece on the bottom of it ?

Ra-Tech is actualy making steel aftermaket parts for all non steel m14 counter parts. Ranging from a complete steel receiver, to a complete steel trigger set, bolt carrier etc. I'm buying the ones available yet and will continue until almost everything on it is made of steel. That should be stronger enough for a WE product ^^

Um... what about getting mag pouches made for G36 mags?

A P90 GBBr would be nice. With the P90 design being what it is, they could actually break from having the gas stored in the mag to storing the gas in the gun itself. With the large rear end and no need for battery or gearbox, the body of the gun could hold a rather large gas reservoir - enough to fire off several mags' worth of gas.

Keep in mind RA-Tech uses quite a soft steel for what grade of steel they use. DG definitely used a better ones.

you could use M14 mag pouches for the G36c mags? only thing is that they might be too long for the pouch unless you have an adjustable length.

When they land in Canada, I hope to try one out! **cough cough** VA!?

I'd much rather take a G36K GBBR than a G36C...just for looks.
You may be in luck...he does mention the possibility of doing a K in the future. Not to mention it seems like a decent next step - how hard can it be to put a new front end on an existing model? ....right?

I'd like to think the G36 mag "issues" could be solved with AN AR magwell adapter, like AEGs. And quite frankly, if it IS possible to have, and WE made them, I would love them forever. The ability to use standard mags for pretty much ALL of their GBBR products (minus the M14, of course) would be too much awesome, and a little lighter on the wallet, of course.

When they charge more than Justin Lee of Daytonagun and give you something quality wise inferior I complain.

Wow thanks Brian. I searched a couple years ago and just gave up after 2 weeks. Mind you I was also looking at only a few sets of retailers.
