Shouldn't be a problem if you give it a good degreasing and drying before installation.

Which one, the IK version? You may need to sand some parts down to fit the slide.

it's just sitting dust in a box so the frame is still all good..
i got the lower frame from RSOV. I believe it's davidson custom so it most likely be the same source?
i tried it on with my current slide and it's a precision fit. I will need to loosen the gap a bit. I'm thinking of using toothpaste or brian's method with white lith grease+graphite powder...

I'll be adding a custom grip, trigger, mag release, and hammer set eventually, and I plan to buy a 7inch barrel that extends through the compensator.

I really want some of the local guys to set up some shoots like you CAPS guys have out east, but as far as I know, there are only 2-3 of us in Edmonton that have even built race guns

Oh yeah, I know this is the wrong place to ask, but I've been looking for a rear sight that will sit flush to the slide. I wanted to remove the stock rear sight, but I hate leaving a hole in the finish.

you can always add a cocking handle to replace the BOMAR sight....
I have a right side cocking handle that sits almost flush with the slide and i have no use of it...
