Awesome kit, beautifully put together and looks damn sharp. I just have to say though valiant fighters doing there duty. The SS and Nazi's were horrible people, being a decendent of a Auschwitz-Birkenau (Auschwitz-Birkenau became the killing centre where the largest numbers of European Jews were killed. After an experimental gassing there in September 1941 of 850 malnourished and ill prisoners, mass murder became a daily routine. By mid 1942, mass gassing of Jews using Zyklon-B began at Auschwitz, where extermination was conducted on an industrial scale with some estimates running as high as three million persons eventually killed through gassing, starvation, disease, shooting, and burning.) worker I know the horrors of what was done, even before The Death Camps.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure, in the late 1930's the Nazis killed thousands of handicapped Germans by lethal injection and poisonous gas. After the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941, mobile killing units following in the wake of the German Army began shooting massive numbers of Jews and Gypsies in open fields and ravines on the outskirts of conquered cities and towns. Eventually the Nazis created a more secluded and organized method of killing. Seven extermination centers, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Belzec, Chelmno, Majdanek, Sobibor, Dachau(Dachau was the first concentration camp established and was opened on March 22, 1933. The camp's first inmates were primarily political prisoners(Communists or Social Democrats), habitual criminals, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, and anti-socials (beggars, vagrants, hawkers). Others considered problematic by the Nazis were also included (Jewish writers and journalists, lawyers, unpopular industrialists, and political.) and Tremblinka; were established in occupied Poland where large-scale murder by gas and body disposal through cremation were conducted systematically. Victims were deported to these centers from Western Europe and from the ghettos in Eastern Europe which the Nazis had established. In addition, millions died in the ghettos and concentration camps as a result of forced labor, starvation, exposure, brutality, disease, and execution. Nazi's destroyed my peoples culture, they destroyed our people, they hummiliated and de-humanized us blaming all there problems on us. They burned our children, gased our wives and daughters, killed our sick, took our money, took our homes and possesions. They exterminated us, and for that I will never forgive the German people who stood by idly as the Facist's took over our Fatherland and soiled the great name of the German people. My point being, what was said about the actions of a few was a dramatic understatement. Six million Jews can't possibly have been killed by a few Nazi's, As for children destroyed by this "Select Few", Most estimates range as high as 1.5 million murdered children. This figure includes more than 1.2 million Jewish children, tens of thousands of Gypsy children and thousands of institutionalized handicapped children who were murdered under Nazi rule in Germany and occupied Europe. My grandfather has told me that all the German people of that time were like that. It wasn't only the Nazi's. Now that thats out of my system... Doubly awesome loadout, it that Kar98 all plastic? or did you modify that to?

That marushin K98 is stock which means it is a mix of real wood, metal and plastic. The plastic parts being the bayonet lug retaining spring, reciever, and trigger guard.

Cool... I may be wrong in hating the Germans of that Era, but I don't see how people could have stood idly by while a whole race of people were almost whiped off the face of the Earth. Never-the-less the Nazi's and what they did where horrible. What I said about the German people who stood by and watched could never be compared to the atrocities of the German's. My statements weren't hate, the Nazi's were hate.

Thats hating hate while condoning it yourself. that doesn't make any sense. That would be like killing all the Germans for something that happened when 90% of them weren't even alive. Hitler despite being a horrible person was a very smart person. He got Germany out of the economic slump. He was considered a hero. Its no wonder people followed him. Its like in the states people think bush is the end all be all. Shit happens and humans are fucked but whats done is done. My great grandfather died because of that war but I dont hold a grudge. Fear can do interesting things. If you were told to follow or you would be tortured then gassed you would likely follow.

I'm a free speech kind of guy, but I don't think this was the right place for your rant. Personally I find you rant offensive, and I'm not even of German descent. You got some ill-informed political axe to grind, you might want to consider grinding it elsewhere. You comment about "our fatherland" particularly has me scratching me head. Perhaps most importantly, since you are here to post I guess that your claim that a whole race of people was wiped off the face of the earth is factually inaccurate. Russ

Confucious Bean.. lol.... Our Fatherland meaning, since I'm of German decent my homeland would be Germany, The Fatherland, well thats according to my Grandfather. I do respect your thoughts and opinions but stand by my own, I am not i'll informed I know not all the German's were like the Nazi's, as a matter of fact I do believe there were attempted resistances to the powerhouse Whermacht. I probably shouldn't have included all the German people of the era under the defination of Nazi, but I think my points were clear none-the-less. In case they weren't hers a re-cap.
Any soldier(Including those of Germany in World War 2 who, I feel, were just following orders (including killing innocent Jew, Gypsys, Communists, Social Democrats, Gays, Coloreds, poor, homeless)= I respect and honour for putting there lives on the line for a country and its leader, Nazi Party(Thats not including the army, I was driving at the people who gave the orders up high.) =Bad, This one's wrong but i didn't think it through at the time lol Jew's killed by a few Nazi's= Understatement but now I just realized it wasn't because it was only a select few in the government that issued the orders to exterminate all those people, Most of the German people of that era (Including the Army)= partially at fault for standing by idly. Most of these are no brainers however, I just used them in the argument. I think I was correct with a couple of my points lol though the main one was wrong.

Then take better ones. You have a funny opinion of "at fault", but the bottom line point is, you should probably not have used this thread as a place to vent your personal problems relating to WWII. Blaming people who stood by, and likely were not aware of what was going on, is pretty close to blaming the victims themselves.
The purpose of the study of history is to learn from it, not to feed your ethnic grudge to allow the hate to slide down into generations who were not even there. Russ
