Yes... Excellent! Though I think I'm gonna try the "reflex" style of sights first. See if I like them.

i ran a tasco red dot for a little while, didnt care for it. the main issue with big sights is they clog up your line of fire.... i only use iron sights now, but have been tempted by those micro sights

Aimpoint Ms2 is too big as you said so I would second the aimpoint T1 micro. $60 on airsoftdepot.ca

The only thing I don't like my primary arms micro t1 for is the battery life is not that great, but for a $100 real steel optic with mount I'm not gonna whine.
Edit: By the way, mine was mounted on a sks for a while before it went on my airsoft gun so they are definitely very durable.

Prepare to buy a shield as well. My reflex got shot out, didn't last one game.

Just a question about optics/scopes. Any legal issues importing them?

No, unless it's a real firearm optic coming up from the US that costs over I believe it's a hundred bucks. Then you just have to do the export permit process with the US. But optics from anywhere else isn't an issue.

Dang :/ Saw a RS SVD I wanted but it's shipped from the us and about 279. How does one go about doing the export permit process?

I'm not sure my permit crap was done for me by brownells and irunguns, it's a pain in the ass to do it as a private citizen and I'm not sure how you would go about it. Stupid US ITAR laws....
Edit: You might want to read through this it might help you out http://www.gdcanada.com/documents/Ge...Suppliers1.pdf Also if it's shipped from a dealer in the states and not a private sale, the dealer might be willing to help you out if you ask.

Okay... so I'm NOT getting that reflex sight after all.
Apparently, due to restrictions, they couldn't ship it to Canada. Jerks!
