SR-25 Carry Handle

I recently saw a SR-25 with a carry handle that would attach to the RIS. I asked the owner where he got it and he told me it came with the package when he bought it from a store.

I didn't get any information on what store since he 'forgot'... so i searched the internet and i found one for a M16 and one for a M4.

Any of those will fit it correctly? (As of length, so its not 'to short').

Also, can those be imported legally into Canada?

An SR-25 is still basicly the samething as any other Armalite, just chambered for 7.62.

Any flat-top carry handles will fit.

You may import them, but I'd advise you search in the classifieds first, there are usually a few available there for less than what you'll pay after shipping and brokerage from HK.

Regular carry handles will be short and look weird on an SR25. Use this: http://www.classicarmy.com/product-p...?productid=850

So an SR-25 receiver is really noticeably longer? I always thought the difference was marginal...

The real thing goes for about US$125 from the States, probably worth it if you can find a used one since i'd expect the CA one to be about US$70-80 from HK.

I think the real question here is why on Earth would you put a carry handle on a SR-25?

But seriously, carry handle is very un-SR25. It's like putting a bumper sticker on a Ferrari.

Carry handle means you would have to zero your scope each and every time you take off the carry handle and put the scope back on....quite useless.

Now putting 4 m203 on an M4 sounds like a mod Aquamarine would do.

FYI you need permission from the us state dept for export of anything firearm related. If you go with something for real steel contact one of the canadian firearms dealers they will probably be able to get you what you want.
