Use of an AEG as a Sniper with Sniper Certification

I was confused over some of the rules regarding FPS Limits at fields, I am getting a M14, and was wondering if I would be allowed to play with it at an ASC game once I got the Sniper Certification ( It would be shooting around 450 FPS)

Now I realise what you guys might be thinking, " FULL AUTO 450 FPS" Nah not gonna happend, well what I was acutaly planing on doing is putting a mosfet into it set it semi only and to be able to fire 1 round every 3-4 seconds!

Thanks for reading!

The sniper certification is only enforced at some fields so you'd have to confirm with the game host. as long as your using the minimum engagement distance and playing in semi it should be fine with most outdoor places as long as you confirm it with the game host.

Many games state AEG 400 and Bolt Action 450 etc... Mosfet or not, it's an AEG. Take this into account when you build your setup.

For the record, I have sniped 200+ feet with an M14 shooting 380. So FPS is not everything. One of the bonuses of using an M14 as a sniper platform is followup shot time to ensure they know they are hit. It also makes you effective in CQB outdoors.

The "Sniper's Certification" is not something recognised by the community, certain elements of the community choose to look at it as a certification and accept it. Outside of that, it means as much to people as a peice of paper with "Driver's License" crayoned on it
