that video is made by the guys at WE. it's their VN style mag that they're going to release soon along with their m16. These guys have access to it because they work there.

Correct me if im wrong, but those VN style mags are also only for open bolt rifles as well! From what I understood in the video, all the new models they're releasing are all open bolt design! Or will at least require the open bolt conversion kit!

Yes, the WE m4/m16 mags WILL work with any open bolt gun they makes. You're also right with the open bolt design, WE tech will release only open bolt guns, or most of them ! It's better for the rate or fire and realism !!!
