Question

DO any other type of mags fit the vfc scar-h aeg. I've been running vfc mid caps with nothing but issues and misffeeds. Anyother brand of mags fit this gun?

I realy hope so because I realy like it but refure to run with highcaps and don't realy want to sell it off.

you could try these, but they're new so I don't think many people have information on them

No, I am pretty sure that the VFC SCAR H mags are proprietary.
I have been having the same problem.
I hate Hi caps and Low caps and Mid cap mags are impossible to find right now.
Everywhere I look, they are sold out.
Even UNCompany is sold out...
Does anyone know where I might find some?

I had the same problem with my VFC Scar L, not compatible with other brands, misfeeds... Finally figured out that the back of the VFC magwell is deeper then other brands. What I mean is that theres a groove at the back of the magwell, near the trigger, its too deep compared to other brands, so regular magazines move around causing misfeeds. All you have to do is fill the groove and most mags will fit properly. Just use a folded piece of paper to test it. I know your talking about Scar H, not Scar L, I'm just hoping this helps.

vfc scar H mags are proprietary, vfc L most m4 mags fit but are loose, the star mag pull p mags fit pretty good and feed not so bad..depending on the brand of m4 mag it will be loose or really tight.. this is what i have noticed since i have a scar H and my teammate has the L

A note about the magpul LR20's, they seem to be on the bulkier side of the 7.62 Nato Mag sizing.

I have a couple, they don't even fit in the Magwell of my CA SR-25URX. That said, they fit and feed perfectly in my CA Scar-H. So, if the problem is loose mags... these will likely help. Although feeding might be another issue.

The VFC H mags are actually SCAR H replica Mags, where as most others, CA, G&P, magpul, etc... seem to be generic 7.62 mag casings aimed at multiple platforms.

These are the ones that don'T work properly.. I already have 10 of these shit. I'll probably just buy a shitload of highcaps and reduce the internal capacity down to 150 ish rounds using nylon inserts. still pisses me off that a manufacturer sells shit that is 1 propritary and 2 that does not fucking work in the only product that uses it. First VFC gun and the last one I ever buy.... Going to stick with TM..still the best

Probably a new spring ( week as hjell IMO) polishing of the feed tube, polishing of the bb pusher, adjustement of the feed tube witht he hopup, adjust the fit of the mag in the magwell.... Then I would have to find a way to secure the internal of the mag inside the metal case as the only thing that holds the damn thing togetter are two small tabs that break at the first attempt of push pull mag seeting.... In other words they are shit

Oh...I see....well, if you don't find any other brand, the only three options will be : playing with Hicaps (eurk) fix those midcaps or modify hi caps

I've had the same feeding problems with my VFC SCAR-H. The damn mid-caps woundn't feed properly and even the highcaps generated problems from time to time. I ended up placing a lot of ductape in the magwell and converting 4 highcaps to 20 round milsim-mags. That more or less solved my problems with the SCAR. But Nowdays i prefer my Ares L85A2 instead

Just bought a Magpul 20LR Pmag. Did a little dremmeling of the rib on the back side of the pmag to allow the rib on the VFC scar magwell to slide in and they work just fine.
