Maybe we will get lucky and someone will replace the trigger in the damn Masada, the stock trigger is a pain in the ass!

it would be interesting to see that stupid cutoff lever in the p90 finally eliminated... that thing is the first thing to die causing permanent full auto. If there's a computerized cycle completion replacement for semi auto, I'd be all over that.

So from the sounds of it, would there be a demand for the following:
1) an IRLB3034-based FET with TVS diodes similar to Unconventional Airsoft's design. Not sure whether polyfuses should be included. Personally I think they not only make the overall package size larger, and degrade performance. If you're at the point where you're tripping these fuses, you have bigger things to worry about. Opinions from experienced gun-docs who've built FETs for their clients welcome. 2) a microFET, basically the single IRLB3034 with no bells, whistles or TVS protection. A FET designed solely for the purpose of eliminating trigger lag and arcing to go into very small spaces. Package size should be no bigger than a quarter and should be used for lower power setups. 3) a simpleFET for the electrically un-inclined. V2 or V3 trigger contacts already pre-attached to the MOSFET, 2 options for each for front or rear wired. Simply remove existing trigger contacts, install new ones, run the wire. Done. The # of combinations worry me. Call it a Poor Man's AWS Stealth unit. |

I would definitely buy option 1 or 2. You have treated me well with my one order and I prefer to buy Canadian.

I'd buy and install plus fully carry those products.
A simple really small fet. Just doesn't exist.

Option two would be nice....but it's got to fit into stock tubes and the top tray of AKs nicely. Even extremefires's simple MOSFET is a little too square to tuck away nicely in tight setups.

I would buy any simple mosfet that just prevents arcing, just want something basic, don't need burst. AB isn't really needed.

No need. I don't run a mosfet in any of my guns, and actually took one out of a gun I got in a trade.

Never really needed one. Ran lipos for years now and only recently one of my guns have developed issues related to arcing in the contacts. Been meaning to get a aws raptor fet but never really been able to justify the cost as I usualyy see something else airsoft related that i'm much happier spending that $100 on.

No one can disprove the actual improvements, faster trigger response that you get from a mosfet, even though you have been firing for years fine. Just the improved trigger response is nice to have Well I run a P90 and a Masada, I'd love a full digital trigger for both, so here's hoping

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

simple mosfets provide all the energy and maintenance benefits of an SW-COMP, but without the drawbacks like sensitivity to motor damage, overheating, and programming problems

I run $5.00 DIY MOSFET in all my AEGs. All work great.
I couldn't justify buying those $100 fancy MOSFET system for each of my AEG. |
