... The queen of england could have helped design it for all I care. I'm just stating purely based on aesthetics that it looks like it was designed by fisher price. (At least the brownish ones that you posted a picture of)

I am sure this has been argued to death, but if armour piercing is what you need, why not go for the tried and true .223 or .308? I guess thats just me since I know in a real life situation, one would trust these rounds to get the job done.
What was the point in developing the 5.7mm anyways? Was it to get armour-piercing without shooting through walls and injuring other people? |

The Five Seven's pretty much a gotta have for anyone with P90.
As for the USP rail so what, I prefer that that type of lower profile rail to the more aggressive types like on a SIG etc. Adapters are like $20 unless you're looking for something silly then it's maybe $90. |

AFA the 5.7x28mm round goes, it's designed to fire a bullet capable of defeating CRISAT with a very LOW recoil impulse. This being said, it's still no substitute for the stopping power and damage of 5.56 or 7.62, but at close ranges it's more accurate due to lower recoil. The round also has a very low chance of ricochet and overpenetration (at least, that's what's shown in their video featuring the P90 and the SS190 round that's fired out of the 5-7)

Lighter, smaller, less recoil, more accurate, more in the magazine, the ability to penetrate Mil-Spec helmets and vests but still create a massive wound by tumbling. |

That's the Belgian bumf on the logic behind the round. I guess you'd have to be putting vests on some sort of livestock and popping rounds off at them.
Wouldn't want to have to sort that one out in the press when it got out! |

The idea was to have more of a rifle-punch in an SMG round.
