How will I remove the gearbox from my M4 D-boys' body??

Hi all!

I am new in the forum and this is the first time I post.
I have to say that I've been really helped by your posts but
my search didn't come with results as for this question.

How will I remove the gearbox from my M4 D-boys'
(model BI 1981) body?
So far I removed the stock, motor, handle and of course
the upper body and the outer barrel.

What I want you to have in mind is that I am from Greece
and I may not understand all the special gun terms .
So please try to be more descriptive.

Thank you all in advance!

As its with a D-boys one, you need to use something like a screw driver to push in the magazine release pin and hold it in. Then on the other side with the selector switch, turn the magazine catch Anti-clockwise to unscrew it. This lets you remove the catch and then the gearbox will lift out.

Hope this helps. "dpvu" He asked how to get the gearbox out of the body not take the gearbox appart just as the title says.

I am aware of that and mechbox.com will also show you how to do that as well as the actual mechbox. Just to be sure:

as said remove magazine catch and be sure to punch out the gearbox retaining pin just above the trigger

Thank you for your help!
I opened the gearbox and found that the spring driver
witch was the part to be replaced is a v3 and not v2.
I went to an airsoft store in Athens and compared it
with a classic army v2 spring driver and they were
different!

It should be a V2. There are small differences even between V2 brands. If you're going to replace it, I recommend a bearing V2 version.
