Matrix AGM VSR-10 & silencer?

Hi, I know I don't post in the forums often, see, making a local team has been hard as I live in a small city, and somewhy, a 'good' place to play was also hard to get.

But I just got my hands on an upgraded AGM VSR-10 (400fps spring). I like this gun, it's not uber priced, and it's only spring, but I like it anyway. I just ordered a red dot scope & 3-7x scope for it, hopefully it's gonna fit nicely on the RIS.
I'm gonna be doing a review on this unit soon, with quality picture as I could not find much on the web.

I was wondering if it's possible to put a silencer on that thing, and would it actually worth it? Would it actually reduce the sound by a significant amount?

By the way, I guess I need a threaded barrel for this?

I had the same gun as you and got rid of it. I hate AGM products, the thing just kept falling apart and it wasn't compatible with TM like they claim to be.
As for the silencer I'm afraid your out of luck, the barrel threading on the AGM doesn't fit any of the silencer adaptors made for the VSR(TM).
I hope the gun works out for you but all I know that from my experience I hated it.

Oh well, but I got it at a nice price (about 80), for the price I say that the quality is good, the only problem so far is the magazine to be hard to eject, and the spare magazine I ordered does not fit, but I'm working on making it to fit.

I just hope my scopes gonna fit the rail, they were not much info about em where I ordered them.

Okay, I finally received a scope I ordered for that gun, but it's not fitting...

The scope is a Tasco 3~7 x 20.

The body of the scope is 20mm, or 3/4"

Here some photos:

the scope feels a bit small on the rifle, but I don't feel for investing in a new one.

Where can I get compatible scope rings for that gun, and what should I look for?

thank you!

don't want to be rude...but ya... like Muffin said.... get rid of it.... if you got it for 80$in Canada there's a reason....so ya AGM is a good exemple of a company that doesn't respect the norms(standards) and in your case it's the mag, and the rails....

Well... I got the mag to work. And the rails, work FINE with my red dot scope, it's standard 20mm, but the scope somewhy is not... I'm not gonna use this in 'serious' big matches, but just in smaller one...
