G&G Umg supressor in 2010 - any other options?

Sorry to revive such an old post, but I really needed to comment on that thread. In fact I joined the forum originally just to respond to this thread. And I joined yesterday which coincidentally was the same day I began work on the barrel adaptor.

Has anyone tried to squeeze on a Gemtech halo Barrel extension from madbull? I was thinking it might just fit over the barrel

I just opted out and bought a G&G Proprietary one, Buyairsoft sells them, but $$$ as hell. Anyone know if running a barrel extension threw it woudl be worth the time?
