Ares M4 models are proprietary as fuck, I would advise not getting one.

the thing with ARES is getting parts are almost impossible. Unless this has changed recently.

ICS parts are widely available. ARES parts are not.

compared to ics, ares is the piece of dog crap i stepped in this morning. ares has no customer support and if a part brakes on your gun you'll be waiting up to 6 months for a replacement part and, believe me a part well brake.

I can vouch for the ICS M4 as well. It was my first AEG until I sold a few days ago and I have never had a single problem with it. The split gearbox design is pretty useful and easy to maintain.

You can find new Classic Army for 430-550ish easily and I'm talking pro-line Classic Army.

As for ARES I own the Magpul PTS Masada (which has ARES internals) And I'll be honest I live every day in fear of braking a part.
