Gearboxes Vs. G&P metal bodies

Hello,

Recently I've purchased a G&P metal body:
G&P SPR Metal Body (A Type) for M4/M16 series [Code: GP181X]

My will is to have a GB with a quick spring changing system in it.

So I got a A.C.M. Quick Interchange Spring System spare gear box For Ver. II (Front).

The problem was that in any way that fitted in my G&P metal body.
But I know someone that uses it in a G&P MAGPUL style Gearbox.

So, thinking that the problem was the metal body, I tried it in my DBoys metal body... TOTAL FAIL. The gearbox stucked inside and I have to break the body to set the gearbox free...

All in all...

Does anyone has an idea on a Gearbox with quick spring changing system that fits G&P metal bodies, or i'll have to use a G&P gearbox?

Just looking at a picture of that mechbox, compared to a regular one, you can see there's a big... protrusion... at the back. There's no way that will fit in an M4 lower.

It didnt come with any instructions how it's supposed to install?

those china made QD spring gearboxes are a pain in the ass. From what i've seen, they dont work with VFC, SRC or DBoys (which u;ve tested i see lol). If I were you i'd get a G&P gb. G&P are kinda anal sometimes when it comes to kit bashing. Or you can try other china made bodies (JG maybe?) I've never tried; just a suggestion.

I want the G&P parts for the realism.

Does anyone know a good spring QD gearbox?????

Ares/Star has the market cornered in QD spring GBs. Whether or not it'll fit a G&P body is beyond me but it doesn't seem likely b/c those Chinese QD GB look like clones of ARES/Star GBs. IMO every gearbox should have some sort of QD spring system. Good luck on your search!
