Glock 19 mag release
Any one changed a Glock 19 magazine release? (KSC) I just got mine, and I wan't to know how to do it without breaking anything.

i dont know if they are like tm but... on tm you just push back the spring (away from the release) and it should come right off

there's a thick guage wire spring that you pry to teh side and out, not remove, just a latch type set up...mag catch is easy stuff...reverse to reinstall

As mentioned the spring, use a pair of needle nosed pliers to pull out the spring (straight piece of spring steel), cut off about 1-1.5mm from the spring, place new metal mag catch in frame, insert freshly cut spring into the retaining hole, press over to enter the grooved slot in the new mag catch. Easy, take you less than a minute to install if you follow these instructions.

Ok that was difficult as hell to remove, because I am a moron and forgot that the top of the gun could be removed too to get some light in. :-S Once I removed the top it was easy.
