Glock help needed in Ottawa area

Hi all, I have a strange request here, I have a customer who's just purchased a Marushin Shell ejecting Glock 21 from me. Upon receiving it he cocked the slide and the slide is locked back. We talked on the phone for almost 20 mins, and still cannot figure out how to make the slide go forward again.

Instead of having him send the package back to me and paying for shipping charges again, I said I'd try to see if somebody can help him out in the Ottawa area.

If you don't mind giving this fellow a hand, could you please leave a message here so I can send him to you? It will probably only take 2 mins of your time.

Did he try what you were telling him with the magazine in? These things might have some sort of catch that does that only works with the mag in.

Yes, he did try to push down the slide lock lever, with the empty mag in. For some reason it just won't work, according to him. Is there some one around the Ottawa area willing to help?

Ok, even though I do my best to avoid gun work these days, it seems I'm the best suited for this, even though I have never even heard of that gun.
