Anyone here know the actual travel distance of an M24 (Airsoft) Piston?

Ummm, have to check, although kinda difficult to measure though. Around a couple inches I'd suspect, not very far.

Perhaps an easier question would be:

How far back do you pull the bolt before it catches on the sear?

Anyone with a sniper rifle know? Please state your rifle type when responding.
