Which Bucking do you find works best for the King Arms M4 Hop Up unit?
Hey all,
I'm currently working on a King Arms M4, trying to maximize it's range and precision potential with a Prommy Barrel, a Systema Bucking and an Element H-nub, shooting roughly around 400 FPS--I plan to be putting .3's through it. However the hop is sort of pathetic, and trying to figure out what bucking would work best for my build. Any ideas? Sincerely, Mausturm

For the h nub or the scs to work you need to do 2 things.
1 is to remove the hump from inside of the rubber or buy a rubber with the hump absent. 2 you will need another rubber to cut peices out of to go between the hnub (or scs) and the rubber on the barrel to act as a sort of spacer or the hnub will not go far enough into the hop window to apply any hop. This is why the newer/beter designs have the standard type nub with either a flat or H type nub attached to it so the nub will push the smooth rubber far enough into the window to apply hop. Like so ![]() So id say aside from r hop one of those bridge tensioners in the pic and a smootb rubber (or modded rubber)

I'll keep that in mind when I start working on the rifle--currently it is in the shop getting the internals buffed up a little before I start going nuts on the rifle. Thanks for the input!

I'll chime in to add the Prometheus bridge tensioner does not fit Prometheus barrels unless you cut both ends off. However I am getting very positive results with it, using a modify moundless rubber in a Prometheus barrel. Another good option is simply the Prometheus rubbers, they are excellent in their barrels.

What kind of gun is it in that you had to cut both ends because you do have to cut it for different allications. Sometimes one end sometimes both
