WE M4 AWSS bolt issue
I was just wondering, that white plastic piece near the back, can i just super glue it? It always somehow moves to the middle blocking the hole and full auto will get retarded. It is really annoying.
I am still somewhat unfamiliar with the moving parts in GBB's so if someone has a solution thats better than super gluing let me know!!

you can glue/scre/JBweld/locktite it place or whatever, I simply removed it from mine to absolutely no ill effect

I suggest you do not remove it. It is there for a reason.
Glue however is fine.

well I ran mine for over 30 000 rounds without it, and everything else on the gun broke or malfunctioned, but the bolt was perfectly fine...

What I wouldn't do is listen to thenooblord, the white plastic spacer is there to keep the main nozzle assembly strait and from bending. I would, remove the main nozzle assembly, then gently but firmly, move the white spacer up a bit then, using rubbing alcohol or dish soap which ever you prefer, clean the seating area of the white spacer. Then when dry, apply superglue to the walls of where it will be seated and then around the edges near the back of the bolt carrier. I would then let it air for 24 hrs to be compelty dry, then replace the entire nozzle assembly (the black tube is part of this) tighten and you will be good to go.

or you can take it our, because since the nozzle never leaves the brass tube, it cant band of move anyways...

Or instead of fucking around with it, get an open bolt kit. The new bolt does not have the spacer.

that too, open bolt is superior in most ways, ome would argue a bit less durable, but accuracy is greatly improved

Before I switched to Open Bolt, I'd just super glue it and it worked fine for about 2k shots before sliding out of place again.
As Ballcancer mentioned, make sure to clean off the grease or oil before super gluing as I failed to do. |
