How long does it take to get AV'd?

I sent PM's to my local AVer's and no response in the past 4 days. I know they have lives, but a simple "I'm busy" would be helpful. Am I missing a step or being completely impatient?

1st to remind them
1st week to remind
2nd week to Av'er as well as Greentip see if its actually in process.

Come out to a game, thats pretty much how it works on the South Island.
Besides we usually have some loaner guns so you can get your feet wet.

So I'm not patient enough. I just don't like being a nag.

As for coming out, I got into airsoft as a cheaper, quieter, cleaner and more indoor alternative to shooting rather than powder burners, airguns and paintball (maybe a bit of crossbow and archery). I like trigger time and it really helps me relax as shooting is very meditative for me (yes, even when gaming which is very counterintuitive). As such, I shoot indoors to relieve stress and have fun. I'm particularly fond of GBB because I miss the recoil that PB have, but airguns don't usually offer. And in airsoft, GBB is incredibly appealing because propane is way cheaper than CO2 or even a box of .22 (I know this first hand). Reading this, you're probably aware that I purchased from retailers who don't age verify and it's now biting back. I purchased an AEG a short while ago to see what it was like. While impressed by how they resemble real steel firearms, it wasn't what I was looking for so now I want to sell it. Airsoft Canada also seems to be the only place where I can sell it but I need to be age verified and I completely understand. Shed some light as to where I'm coming from.

OK, so this might be redundant but I don't think so.. How long after getting AV'd at the game before it gets official on the forum?

Updates are usually done every few days to about a week or so. Outside of that, it depends on when your AVer provides your info and if you provided the correct info. It doesn't happen often but there are the occassional problems with players providing the incorrect user name or providing the user name they intend on using on ASC but have not yet signed up. Not much help.

Once your info is placed here it all depends on which staff member feels the need to flip the switch, it could be a under a day up to two weeks. We try to get it done frequently but that doesn't always happen.

As long as you're not "Flame" or some variation of him, you'll get sorted out eventually.

Nope I'm not him. I've been told I'm a tool before though. haha. I'll be getting AV'd on the 11th at the Atlantic season opener.
