Well if you're not comfortable with opening up your gun then the best thing to do is just take it to a gundoc to do the work for you.

Think of it like taking your car to a mechanic/auto shop. You probably can do things like oil changes, changing the tires, and such yourself but if you're not comfortable under the hood where do you go? To the auto shop and pay them whatever to flush your engine, change oil, etc.

Same goes for airsoft, you can probably change the springs and such yourself but you can just as easily get a gundoc or friend who knows what he's doing to do it. For more in depth work like on the mechbox, gears and such go to the "pros".

PS: I've heard that a guy who goes by the name Samuel (Sam) in Edmonton is a wicked gundoc.
