That makes sense. Thing is if someone wants to rob a store they are going to do it , making it harder to do wont stop them. But i can see the rationalization there.

I guess it has probably been debated alot alreddy.

If you rob a store with anything (cap gun, gun carved out of a turnip) you get charged as if it was a real gun.
