If someone tried to rob you using airsoft, you would have no idea it was airsoft (most likely). So, in most cases, its cheaper than having a real gun, and easier to get. Perfect for robbing, etc.

That makes sense. Thing is if someone wants to rob a store they are going to do it , making it harder to do wont stop them. But i can see the rationalization there.
I guess it has probably been debated alot alreddy.
If you rob a store with anything (cap gun, gun carved out of a turnip) you get charged as if it was a real gun.
