For reference; you are always better off asking questions if you are unsure of them. Don't mind if anyone flames you for it, someone will give you the answer you are looking for. You are safer to ask and ignore the flames and learn something, or avoid doing something silly, then to fear the flaming and just do something only to find out after it was a bad idea.
Edit: But I do agree with surebet. With something like this, you need to use common sense and see that using a gun on the streets, no matter what it looks like or how cheap/weak it is, is a bad idea.
