Just a quick note to thank you all.

One thing occurred to me while taking my AEG apart for cleaning: my motorcycle and my AEG share similar molex electrical connections. One thing I do to "waterproof" my bike's electrical system is pack the molex connectors with dielectric grease.

Perhaps also packing the AEG's molex connectors with dielectric grease would be one way to waterproof those connections. Hmmmm....

EDIT: OH, one more thing. Do you think placing sachets of a desiccant, like silica gel, alongside your weapon in its case, would remove any traces of water ? In case you don't wanna take your weapon apart to dry internals...
