i have one of those be sl8's, cept the only thing be left is the body. i put an upgraded echo1 gearbox in it and a gaurder hop rubber and i have to use a lipoly battery with it. i just have a be hi-cap mag for it. i dont have the long barrel on it so its basically like an assault rifle.
theres other brands of g36 dual drum mags than star. try evike or ehobbyasia
