What I did was I changed the hop-up rubber and I used a piece of 16 gauge wire strip (no wires inside) as a bucking. (very responsive). Trial and error on how long you need to cut the strip.

I also did the glass sealant airtight mod. Currently mine is shooting an average of 390 to 400fps with an m120 spring. No other upgrades and stock batt.

+1, I did the same thing and it works like a charm. Using the wire makes for a stiffer bucking so I'm sure it will last longer and generally be more responsive as Denzildon mentioned.
Also, you might want to replace the switch too as mentioned before in a lot of the reviews. It makes the gun shoot when you want it to rather than whenever it wants to.
